Rolls Royce motor cars pretty much define luxury ultimately, though owners are usually found at the back of them. Popularly known as the byword for luxury, elegance, decadence and success on the roads, the 2018 Rolls Royce wraith is no exception from this truth.

This British auto company has really worked hard to have an exceptional 2018, with the new innovations driving out of this company this year, saw as the birth of their first ever SUV, you can’t expect nothing less than perfection from their 2018 models. The 2018 Rolls Royce provides the ultimate Grand Touring encounter, in a motor car born to the role. Restless in style, Wraith was created for the modern day seeker. Fitted with a 6.6liter V12 engine which produces a 624hp and 635lb-ft with the support of an 8-speed automatic transmission which powers the rear wheels, creating a rapid performance. Though the most performance oriented specie, but it hasn’t prove itself further by improving on things like adding stiffer suspension or saving more weight, by luxury reduction, you get a rolls Royce for utmost luxury and comfort at the expense of other trivialities.

The 2018 luxurious coupe offers a commendable body control and excellent road holding while keeping its passengers from the woeful realities of the outside world.

Also the Wraiths Bespoke audio system, a feature which comes with an additional $9,650 to its initial price tag, provides 1,300 watts, 18 channel system which includes 7 woofers and midrange speakers, 2 sub-woofer

Lastly the satellite aided transmission which uses GPS to sense the road ahead and compensate via gearshift so that the engine always operate smoothly and quietly.

The 2018 Rolls Royce Wraith is a perfect example of a Rolls Royce attempt in creating a top notch luxurious sports car, but as it is often said “you can’t eat your cake and have it”, it will continue to remain what it has always been, an attempt, but the attempt is seen as a glorification of an already glorified machine. Rolls Royce Wraith which is rather an extension of one’s personality and lifestyle portrays your way of life with your $310,000 plus to actualize your dream.

Rolls Royce Dawn

6th January 2019 / 0 Comments / 417 / Blog

This 2 door coupe luxury convertible is another Ghost derived Rolls Royce car. Or if you really want to be specific an F01 BMW 7-series derived car. Without a doubt, it’s the most opulent production convertible money can buy at the moment.

The 4 passenger luxury convertible, which was first introduced in 2015, has really proved that it has come to stay and nothing can take away its awesomeness, as it marks the beginning of lavish freedom, deeper thrills, and greater escapes. The new Dawn which features Rolls Royce’s smooth lines, wide fenders fitted over a standard 20-inch wheels, and distinctive breed front and rear ends. Although it has the same wheelbase as the Wraith, the 2019 Rolls Royce Dawn is slightly longer than it. The two shares a lot of structural elements but the British says the Dawn boasts no less than 80 percent of its own body panels. Compared to the discontinued Phantom coupe, the 2 door coupe is also a foot shorter but still more spacious. At the same time, it’s more nimble and more at home in traffic.

The super luxury drop head vehicle invites you to embrace the moment in the legacy style that can only be manifested through a Rolls Royce’s magic carpet ride. Soaring from 0-60mph in just 4.9seconds with a top speed of 155mph shares the same powertrain as the Ghost and Wraith with a 6.6liter twin turbo V12 engine. A remarkable feature in the Dawn, is its ability to offer total freedom to those who seek both sophistication and freedom, and those who will compromise style and have higher expectation of function as the Rolls engineers worked tirelessly to create the most silent roof mechanism in the world which will open or close under 22seconds, in other words you are 22seconds away from freedom.

The 8-speed automatic transmission which powers 563 horses at a 575 pound ft of torque, boasts of an ultra-modern interior, as the front occupants of the Rolls Royce Dawn gets high-bolstered bucket seats with massage capabilities, while the wide, contoured rear bench provides seating for two. Further interior options includes different colors of leather, contrast stitching and piping, Rolls Royce logo or custom logo hand stitched embroidery on the headrest, and hand finished wood grain veneer.

Fortified with a 10.3inch LED display infotainment system controlled by a touchpad which includes navigation. More so, an optional Bespoke audio system which provides 18 speakers. Unfortunately, features such as built-in WI FI, android auto and Apple CarPlay are not supported.

The Rolls Royce Dawn, with its emphasis on power and elegance and exclusivity of bespoke construction, is little more than a daydream for most car buyers. And of course with you smiling to the warehouse with at least $340,000 in your pocket.

Rolls Royce Ghost

6th January 2019 / 0 Comments / 416 / Blog

The Rolls Royce Ghost is a British full-size luxury car manufactured by Rolls Royce motor cars. The GHOST name plate was named after the silver Ghost, a car first produced in 1906 and it was announced in April 2009 at the Auto shanghai show.

The Rolls Royce Ghost is a typical contrast to the Wraith as this model projects the angelic side of a fiercely powered machine. In other words, despite the Rolls standard, the Ghost is out there to ascertain its name through its almost unnoticeable presence. The Ghost is a typical ‘motor car’ though a luxurious one, but its owner is going to be the type that does not love the crowd eyes whenever he is passing, with which we can say riding all along without being noticed like the real Ghost.

Not surprising that for a company concerned with luxurious attainment, an extra ordinary piece of elegance in integrity coated in the simplest art of technology. This 2018 Ghost benefits from a striking English exterior and an interior in artic, with a combination which exudes a tasteful sophistication. One of the defining features of the Ghost series II is the tapered ‘wake channel’ on the hood, running from the spirit of ecstasy emblem to the windshield. This line evokes a jet vapor trial of wake of a luxury yacht, which hints at the car’s dynamism and offers a sleek contrast to the car’s stately posture.

Powered by a stunning bi-turbo 6.6liter V12 with a 563hp, weighing 605pound feet of torque. We may say because the Rolls company intends for the Ghost to go unnoticed actually didn’t perfect the piece to reach its limits, but for a heavily fortified luxury coupe as the Ghost, a 4.7seconds for a 0-60mph isn’t that much encouraging.

The 2018 Ghost is focused on elegance, the hastily famous spirit of ecstasy mascot sitting proudly on the bonnet of the Rolls Royce Ghost, disappearing into the radiator when the car is locked. It can be operated manually or automatically, unlike in the Phantom, which has a dedicated button in the glovebox, the control for the Ghost mascot is hidden within the iDrive. The rear hinge back doors are another design inherited from the Phantom, as they work beautifully, both practically and aesthetically.

Opening the magically balanced rear door of the Ghost, you get the true picture of your pockets. The Rolls who always make their existence known, has fully proven their interior their selling point. Furnished with a handcraft in Goodwood England to stand the test of time, enhanced with sensory pleasure that brings beauty to every moment. Also, a quiet cabin at speed, delivers a magical ride quality, lambswool carpet that encourages passengers to go barefoot, and leather so buttery soft. Not also forgetting the Mandarin orange leather accents that picks up the pin strumming hue and bright indoors, lovely bright work of polished stainless steel.

A custom audio system which comes with an additional $10,000 to its initial price feels like an exercise in opulence as one rolls down the road, though equipped with some slightly

updated tech such as the rotary controllers (front and back). Maintaining a quiet silent interior, compared to the Phantom as the 2018 machine is lower, costlier and less sedate but a remarkable feature is the spacious liberty you get behind the wheels.

Designed to be particularly an owner driven luxurious train, the Ghost ability to recline the rear seat further will surely be commended by all. The Ghost comes with an Adaptive LED headlight, DVD players and massaging seats, a 360 degree camera system, a starlight headlining and numerous safety techs.

The 2018 Rolls Royce Ghost is a far cry from the original but part of the reason you might consider buying one is the promise of unparalled serenity on the move behind the wheel or behind the driver. With a starting price of $394,525 your dreams are coming to actualization.

Luxury Car Owners

26th December 2018 / 0 Comments / 412 / Blog

It’s true that since the inception of automobiles in 1769, the production has not fully evolved to make it available to everyone but for a selected few. This means automobiles took off as an exclusive and exquisite item only the privileged ones can acquire. All thanks to technological development, automobiles have been served to the generality of human class. In other words, cars are made available for all class of the society.

In contrast to the major aim of cars which is mobility and easy transportation, the desire to own an extremely exquisite and exclusive brand of car which differs from the everyday thing, brought about the birth of luxury vehicles. Talking of luxurious brands in the 21st century, we mean Lamborghini, Bugatti, Ferrari, Mercedes, BMW, Cadillac, and Porsche and so on. A major thing these luxurious brands have in common is the competitive intent to produce a car that provides utmost comfortability, speed, and this nauseating feeling whenever you behind the wheels in which an ordinary car cannot provide. In other words luxury cars give the owner an opportunity to eat your cake and have it.

As we all know that the best things in life doesn’t come cheap, as these cars are made for some selected individuals whose net worth are way above the standard of an average man, in other words, extremely rich individuals who would spend on things reflecting their standard and position in the society.

In 2017 the Forbes list of billionaires shows a record for the richest people on earth which according to the publication there were 2,043 billionaires around the world which means there has been an increase in the numbers of ‘New Money’, as the 2017 list is 13% higher and this could only mean one thing, more money, more demand for luxurious items which includes exotic cars. The United States in 2016 held the top position as the world largest market for ultra-luxury cars with demands accounting for 30% of the global sales volume to around 8,377 units of vehicles sold.

Who are the luxury cars owners? You may ask, owners of luxurious cars are statistically estimated to be around the ages of 20-65 years with a family income of between $3000 and $30,000. China, who is the third largest market for luxury cars have their owners to be around the ages of 33.5 years which is also the same in the US and UK . This can only mean one thing which is , the choice of exceptionality are made by the New money, and by New Money I mean young, highly educated and wealthy youths. In which we can find musicians, actors, business moguls, oil mafias etc.

It will interest you to know that most musicians today are being qualified by the numbers of exotic cars they have in their garages, in fact it is almost impossible to see an artiste that does not own a luxury car. Funny enough, young successful musicians are spoiling themselves with cars above an average man’s dream. The likes of Cardi B and Offset who gifted themselves a

matching Lamborghini which worth over $200,000 are typical examples of New Music Money, not to also forget an owner of one of the most expensive cars in the world a, Maybach Exelero that is worth $7 million which was bought by the rapper Birdman not also forgetting the $1.2 million Bugatti Veyron lying in his garage. This shows the kind of people and amount these luxury cars attract.

Usually, the luxury car market is broken down into the following segments; premium compact vehicles, mid-size luxury cars, high and luxury cars, ultra luxury cars as well as luxury SUVs and crossover modes. The price is largely defined as the major criterion for classifying luxury vehicles. According to analyst at a data compilation and analyses firm, Vincentric, Audi models rank highest in terms of value to cost of long term ownership, with the sporty Audi TT, the premium large sedan Audi A7 TD1, the prestigious Audi R8 model and the premium mid- size cross over Audi Q5 TD1 receiving excellent scores. As of April 2016, the Koenisegg CCXR Trevita ultra luxury car was ranked as the most expensive automobile worldwide.

The growth in luxury vehicle sales for the past year and half has been in tandem with or faster than the overall passenger vehicle market, with new product launches, expanding dealer networks and 13% growing prosperity among buyers whose profile now includes an increasing number of women driving demand.

As at September 2018, the sales of electric cars has taken the lead in luxury cars especially Tesla, which had a remarkable 35% sale ahead of other luxury brand such as Audi (7,833) 10%, BMW (16,737) 21%, Mercedes Benz (12,163) 15%, Bentley Bentayga (2,700), Lamborghini Huracan (2,000) etc.

Automobiles in today’s world have gone beyond mobility function, as it has incorporated luxury, comfort and speed into its products. Luxury cars may come as a burden, because in the last 3 years it has been disrupted by a series of legal regulatory and taxation challenges, but for an owner of a car worth $500,000 or $1.2 million, taxation shouldn’t be a problem.

Aston Martin Vantage

26th December 2018 / 0 Comments / 412 / Blog

The new Aston Martin Vantage has been officially revealed ahead of a 2018 release. It has the same 4.0-litre V8 used in the DB11 and will go from 0-62mph in just 3.6 seconds.

A huge grille dominates the front of the Aston Martin Vantage, and it’s reminiscent of the grille on the multi-million-pound Vulcan. The headlights are simply styled and are a lot narrower than the outgoing car, while the new car also gets a prominent bonnet hump.

The bonnet itself is still fairly long and the overall shape of the Vantage is similar to the current car. It retains the long sloping roof and short rear end, but there are new air ducts on the side and a reprofiled window behind the doors. At the rear, a full-width light bar runs above the badge and across the ducktail spoiler, connecting the slim LED brakelight units. A more aggressive rear bumper features on this new car than the current car, with a larger diffuser and two protruding exhausts.

The interior of the new Vantage looks a very special place to sit. There’s plenty of carbon fibre trim on the lower centre console which, alongside the flat-bottomed wheel and contrasting stitching, make the Vantage feel sporty and purposeful. Thankfully the seats don’t look like they’ve been plucked straight from a racing car, so they should provide enough comfort for long journeys while also keeping you in place in the corners.

The dashboard features a large digital infotainment screen, which should have a faster processor and better graphics than some other Aston Martins. From it, you’ll be able to control the climate settings, media, sat navigations and other settings. The air vents below it look fairly cheap but should be better to use, and there will be other options available if the red inserts are a bit too garish.

The Vantage will use the same 4.0-litre V8 as the DB11, kicking out 510hp and propelling it to 62mph in just 3.6 seconds. Aston says the car has a 50:50 weight distribution, which means the weight of the car is spread evenly, which should benefit handling. Expect the Vantage to be even better to drive than the outgoing car.

As standard, the Vantage will come well-equipped with safety assistance technology including stability control, emergency brake assist and torque vectoring, which shuffles power to whichever wheels the computer decides is best. The car also comes with park assist, all-round parking sensors and tyre pressure monitoring.

The Aston Martin Vantage will cost around $299,950, although a few ticked option boxes could bring the price up quite a bit.

Performance being one of the top priorities of Porsche, the 2018 model proves this with the excellent dynamics present in every model available, the 911’s twin turbo flat six engine offers a thrilling acceleration in all its potencies – 370, 420 and 450hp. As a company concerned with engineering effects, the least you can expect is a deficient time delivery which you will not get in the 2018 911 model because of an impressive 3.4 seconds 0-60mph time when equipped with the PDK dual clutch automatic, the sweetest option for the quickest acceleration. Thanks to the traction of all-wheel drive, the 4s is even more explosive out of the starting blocks.

Powered by the standard 7-speed manual transmission, also the optional PDK7-speed –dual clutch automatic, sets the standard for shift quickness and intelligent programming. This incredible powertrain helps the 911 deliver an amazing alacrity at the corners, and the all-wheel drive model exits corners with particular vehemence. Also, the standard steering setup peerlessly blends maturity and eagerness. The Porsche auto company strikes a distinct development with the 911’s short, reassuring firm stroke brake pedal system befitting an athletic car.

Graced with top notch materials, buyers can dress up the interior via a multitude of optional leather covering everything from the dashboard to the non-mirrored parts of the rear view mirror. Driver’s safety and Driver-assistance features have become a standard feature in most cars. To own a 2018 re modification of the 911 Porsche, which comes in numerous choices, a starting price of $92,150 is not too much to ask for.

BMW i8

26th December 2018 / 0 Comments / 403 / Blog

In the auto market, there’s a very small percentage of car buyers for units priced over $70,000 and even fewer for cars over $100,000. At that price point, the customer is elite, and the vehicle becomes a status symbol more than a mode of transportation. It’s that automotive segment riddled with luxury models, SUVs built for excess and precision-built sports cars. That’s the segment you’ll find the 2018 BMW i8 a member of.

BMW introduced the i8 model around four years ago, obviously for a very niche clientele. It’s part of BMW’s iPerformance group of vehicles alongside the BMW i3. While the i3 is an intentional fully-electric model, the i8 is decidedly different. It’s marketed as an electrified high-end sports car.

There’s a chink in the German armor, as the i8 is electrified, but just barely. Its all-electric range is just 15 miles. Although it is a truly a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, the all-electric benefits are marginal at best. But it’s still a very nice car that performs extremely well.

If you told car designers to come up with a hybrid electric sports car in the BMW i8’s price range, this is the model you’d expect as the outcome. It looks exactly as you’d imagine a high-end sports car that bears the hybrid title to appear. It’s low-slung, sleek, ultra-modern, and has flashy colors contrasted by gloss black. The 2018 BMW i8 is available in both a coupe and roadster format, with the roadster definitely having more shape and attitude behind the cockpit than the coupe.

The dual kidney-shaped grille remains, and it’s possibly the only external reminder that it’s the Bavarian carmaker behind it. There are some very impressive exterior touches that make the BMW i8 a unique vehicle, however. It’s equipped with scissor-style doors that are a cross between Lambo doors and the Tesla falcon-wing doors. It rides on 20-inch alloy wheels with ultra-low-profile tires. Laserlight headlights are optional but add a new degree of brightness.

The 2018 BMW i8’s side profile is dynamic and attractive with an upturned swoop cut into the side. No doubt, it applies downforce to the rear wheels at high speeds. The roadster’s power soft top opens and closes in under 16 seconds and can be operated at speeds up to 31 mph.

The interior includes white or black leather with 3-stage heated seats and carbon fiber trim. Al 11- speaker Harman Kardon Premium Sound System is standard, as is interior ambient lighting, Comfort Access keyless entry, push-button start, and 2-zone climate control. BMW’s iDrive system is integrated including a touchpad controller, BMW Navigation, ConnectedDrive Services, and of course, BMW’s full- color Head-Up Display system. The center screen is a modest 8.8 inches.

Upgrades include the Tera World package with ceramic controls, blue seatbelts, and special leather seating surfaces. The Tera World Copper package adds Tera Copper leather upholstery. While there aren’t many interior packages available, there doesn’t need to be. The BMW i8 is a unique experience from the driver’s seat. The premium German engineering emanates from every interior detail, from the knobs, touchpads, buttons, and levers to the feel of the steering wheel in your hands.

Where the BMW i8 excels is in the performance department. A rear-mounted 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine with a turbocharger powers the rear wheels. An electric motor up front powers the front wheels and makes the i8 an all-wheel-drive car. Combined, the BMW i8 has 369 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque. It accelerates to 60 miles per hour in 4.2 seconds, but it feels even faster from the driver’s seat. The rigid ‘Life Module’ cockpit mounted to the high-strength and lightweight ‘Drive Module’ chassis give it impeccable control and stability. This car handles winding roads as easily as long straightaways, and with extreme confidence.

There are very few people that would consider the BMW i8 for their own. It’s not a practical car in any sense. However, if you’re looking for a ridiculously fun car in the $150,000 price range, this is a good one to consider. It’s likely to find its way into the climate-controlled garage of a wealthy. The 2018 BMW i8 has a price tag of $147,500, and there are certain comfort expectations at that point. All in all, this Bimmer satisfies those expectations.
